CPO Export in January-October 2019 Rose 2%
Indonesia’s shipment of palm oil products and its derivatives rose 2% in January-October 2019 compared to the same period of 2018, The Indonesian Palm Oil Association (Gapki) data showed.

JAKARTA—Indonesia’s shipment of palm oil products and its derivatives rose 2% in January-October 2019 compared to the same period of 2018, The Indonesian Palm Oil Association (Gapki) data showed.
On its press release, (24/12/2019), Gapki noted that exports of national CPO and its derivative products until October reached 28.95 million tons, compared to the period of January-October 2018 of 28.35 million tons. The biggest increase occurs in oleochemical products amounting to 113% and on CPO by 17%.
Meanwhile, exports to Pakistan in October increased by 52% or by 100 thousand tons compared to the September exports. However, compared to 2018 (year on year), export to this country declined 5%.
Exports to Africa in October have decreased by 41% or 270,000 tons compared to exports in September. However, "year on year", exports to Africa are still growing higher than last year.
